ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - SYNOPSIS...High pressure moves east of Cenla on Saturday, bringing an increase in moisture. Storms are possible on Sunday as a cold front begins dropping into the region.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON...mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Light NE winds.

FRIDAY NIGHT...mainly clear with lows in the mid-upper 50s. Calm winds.

SATURDAY...mostly sunny with afternoon highs in the low-mid 80s. Humid. Breezy south winds gusting to 25 mph.

MOTHER’S DAY...increasing clouds with scattered showers and storms possible in the afternoon and evening hours. Some storms could be strong to severe with gusty winds and hail possible. Highs in the mid-upper 80s. Muggy and breezy.
